The third bedroom has a brand new queen sofa bed with upgraded mattress and can serve as an office/study or as a sleeping room for another guest. It, too, has its own full, slate-tiled bathroom with large walk-in shower.

The town of Hanalei, in the "magical" Hanalei valley, is a five minute drive away, with the North Shore’s acclaimed snorkeling, swimming and surfboarding beaches beyond. Kilauea’s lighthouse and bird sanctuary (and secret beach) are ten minutes east.
